AT Overland Truck Cap - Custom Order
Whatever your adventure brings, AT Overland has you covered!
The AT Truck Cap is their version of an all-time classic. Built from the same lightweight aluminum and honeycomb composite as our other proven toppers, the AT Truck Cap provides a durable, insulated, and lightweight shell for a variety of trucks in today’s market while still leaving room for individual customization.
The locking rear liftgate keeps gear secure while double pane acrylic windows are available to let light in and keep weather out. For external gear access, upward-opening weathertight locking cargo doors are available for both sides of the AT Truck Cap. The optional AT Overland Custom Roof Rack with cross bars gives you the option to haul extra gear for your adventure while the optional solar panels allow for power on the go. If you would like to add a roof top tent to your truck cap, talk to us here at TCG about your options. As an added bonus, you can always convert your Truck Cap into an Atlas, Habitat, or Summit down the line.
Rain or shine, work or play, this thoughtful combination of materials makes the AT Truck Cap a comfortable space to stow your gear, whatever the weather.

PLANNING FOR A TRUCK CAMPER
THE BASICS
- Rubber bed mats: These mats go under your camper to prevent it from sliding, and protect your truck bed. We supply these for ~$100.
- 7-way cable. This powers the DOT running lights on your camper. We sell them for ~$45.
- Camper tie-downs. If not already part of the camper, you'll need frame mounts & turnbuckles. We recommend Torklift Locking FastGun turnbuckles, which'll set you back ~$1,000 for a set of 4.
- Rear suspension upgrades. Depending on your payload, you may need to upgrade your truck's suspension. It can improve safety, stability & comfort. We'll talk through your situation to see if it's really necessary.
- Batteries in camper. Whether your camper comes with a battery or not, you'll want to consider your power needs and how you want to charge the batteries (e.g. solar, truck, and/or shore charging). We recommend redundancy when solar might be limited by weather or shade.
Those washboards & deeply potholed backroads can really do a number on ya.
So start with TorkLift FastGuns. After that, make sure you dial in your suspension, and add recovery gear, like an ARB Air Compressor, a winch, and some MaxTrax.
