Our story
Raised on opposite sides of the country, John & Zach shared a passion for building, camping, four-wheeling, and boating long before they met in San Diego. After years of customizing their own rigs, they decided to build the kind of truck camper shop they wished existed—one focused on honest advice, quality craftsmanship, and helping people get outdoors.
As Truck Camper Garage (formerly Poptop Overland) grew, Sam entered the picture. First, like everyone else, as a customer, and later as a business partner. Sam's experience helped expand the business into one of Southern California's premier truck camper dealerships and service centers.
Together, we've customized more than 200 different rigs, from 60-year-old vintage campers to brand-new overland builds designed for life off the beaten path.
