Built with their rugged yet lightweight honeycomb composite construction, this camper is the perfect solution for overlanders and DIY enthusiasts looking to create a highly adaptable habitation system. Available as a base shell or a fully equipped unit, the Aterra Slide-In Camper bridges the gap between modular versatility and premium off-road performance.
The fully enclosed design provides a secure and insulated space for any season. The forward power cabinet, folding tables, and modular storage options make for a functional interior that adapts to your needs. The extendable cabover king bed, measuring 74” x 80”, offers a spacious and comfortable sleeping area, while four Tern Overland double-pane windows with solar screens and blackout blinds provide great ventilation and privacy.
Designed for flexibility, the Aterra Slide-In Camper features a customizable component system, allowing you to add options like a heater, air conditioner, fridge/freezer, water system, or even an external hot water shower. A roof-mounted solar panel and lithium power system keep you powered off-grid, and a dedicated port for shore power. Need internet connection while roaming the wilds? The Aterra Slide-In Camper is also ready for Starlink Mini integration.
With its durable construction, modular layout, and upgrade possibilities, the Aterra Slide-In Camper is the ultimate truck camper for adventurers who want their setup to evolve with them. Adventure your way - wherever the road takes you.

PLANNING FOR A TRUCK CAMPER
THE BASICS
- Rubber bed mats: These mats go under your camper to prevent it from sliding, and protect your truck bed. We supply these for ~$100.
- 7-way cable. This powers the DOT running lights on your camper. We sell them for ~$45.
- Camper tie-downs. If not already part of the camper, you'll need frame mounts & turnbuckles. We recommend Torklift Locking FastGun turnbuckles, which'll set you back ~$1,000 for a set of 4.
- Rear suspension upgrades. Depending on your payload, you may need to upgrade your truck's suspension. It can improve safety, stability & comfort. We'll talk through your situation to see if it's really necessary.
- Batteries in camper. Whether your camper comes with a battery or not, you'll want to consider your power needs and how you want to charge the batteries (e.g. solar, truck, and/or shore charging). We recommend redundancy when solar might be limited by weather or shade.
Those washboards & deeply potholed backroads can really do a number on ya.
So start with TorkLift FastGuns. After that, make sure you dial in your suspension, and add recovery gear, like an ARB Air Compressor, a winch, and some MaxTrax.
